The quarterly survey of UK’s SME owners from a wide range of sectors also showed that more than half of them have already experienced growth in the last year, whilst over a third, 37 per cent, expect their business to grow during the upcoming 12 months.
We at AIT accountants are well versed in pouring over the small details in many similar companies are heartened to see that so many businesses of this size seem to be benefiting, which shows that the economy is in good shape.
With growth however comes expansion in numbers and many businesses interviewed for the report from Close Brothers Asset Finance (43 per cent) are also hoping to take on new staff within the next year.
It is vital as firms grow that they put a lot of thought into managing that growth, and seek solid professional advice on how they should go about this.
